Celebration Place @ Edgewood is a 52-week children’s program for kids from birth through 6th grade that aligns with Celebrate Recovery’s teaching. While adults explore healing and wholeness, children learn the same truths in age-appropriate ways and discover God’s love and grace in a real and life-changing way.
The program uses an age-appropriate curriculum for each stage of development. Babies and toddlers are introduced to basic Bible truths through songs and finger plays, while preschool and elementary children learn Bible stories and object lessons that connect with the topics their parents are studying each week. Meetings also include journals that encourage life application, along with fun games and activities. Some Fridays are “Fun Days,” featuring special activities like movie nights, game nights, and other celebrations that help build friendships and community.
Celebration Place is not childcare or babysitting. It is a Christ-centered program committed to providing a safe place where children can express their fears, frustrations, hurts, hang-ups, and habits. While it is not intended to provide therapy, we believe real change is possible through the work of the Holy Spirit.
