Youth Group - Adult Mentor

I Want to Serve

Opportunity Details

Adult Mentors intentionally build Christ-centered relationships with students by being present, encouraging, and available. This role isn't about leading a program—it's about living life alongside students, helping them experience authentic Christian community, and pointing them toward Jesus through consistent presence and genuine care.

This person:

  • Plays games.
  • Eats pizza.
  • Learns students' names.
  • Has conversations before and after service.
  • Celebrates milestones.
  • Notices when students are absent.
  • Supports Small Group Leaders by extending relational care.

For many adults who don't feel ready to teach or facilitate discussion, this becomes an ideal first step into student ministry. Over time, many of the best Small Group Leaders naturally emerge from faithful Adult Mentors.

This serves as a step in the Leadership Pathways
