Opportunity Details
Small Group Leaders are the heart of Thursday Night Student Ministry. Through consistent relationships, biblical conversations, and intentional discipleship, you'll help students grow in their faith and learn what it means to follow Jesus every day. Rather than simply leading a discussion, you'll invest in students by encouraging them, praying for them, and walking alongside them as they grow spiritually.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly small group discussions following the large group teaching.
- Help students understand and apply God's Word to everyday life.
- Foster meaningful relationships with students throughout the year.
- Pray regularly for the students in your group.
- Follow up with students outside of Thursday nights through encouragement and appropriate communication.
- Encourage students to attend Sunday Morning Growth Groups, retreats, camps, and ministry events.
- Communicate student needs or concerns with Student Ministry leadership.
Commitment
Serve weekly on Thursday evenings and participate in scheduled leader development opportunities.
